a challenge for the best composting toilet in the world. It only uses
solar power and no water. The new toilet has the potential to clean up
a lifelong problem in third world countries struggling with raw sewage
from human waste and the diseases it causes.
Now he is concentrating on poop here at home. The idea is to get bio-gas from waste water treatment plants, agricultural farms, fuel refineries and waste landfill sites, gas that is usually burned off on site, and funnel it into a recovery generation center from which it then powers his Data Center. The first one is located in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Hey, way to go, Bill. The whole project will then be donated to the University of Wyoming to study and perfect for major developments.

I read this morning that the arctic ice caps will be melted by 2016. Guess I better rev up my well and hope Gates takes on the wasteful water practices of American flush toilets. Then, if he can fund an easy way for people to catch and save their rainwater, I’d be on board in a minute. 2016 is not that far away. I’m thinking strongly about water because today, we are supposed to get from 6 to 12 inches of water and have flooding problems. I think I’ll convert my hot tub.
