A CANDLE FOR OUR TROOPS.
My cousin Rita suggested that we should place a candle in our windows as a way to honor our troops every day during December. A very fitting reminder of our troops and their separation from families at this time of year.
My candle has to be fed. It sits on a marble dish inside of a glass holder and I expect it will be safe, and I don't mind replacing the votives in it every day.
I may be anti-war and I abhor the number of lives we've lost, and the anguish that war brings, but I've always been a supporter of our troops and our veterans. Amen.
